Below are some examples of how we have helped our clients use the right software to run their business more efficiently.

  • For a UK CAD/CAM company we developed a document and
production management system. Our system was designed to
interface between their existing design package and their
shop floor machining control systems. Our goal was to design a
system that would provide a database of components as they
were designed and to provide a secure system for deploying the
production on the clients bespoke DNC (direct numerical control)
systems. We successfully designed and delivered the software
to our client who then successfully deployed it throughout the UK.

  • For a major financial institution in the UK we gave assistance in the
development of a customer workflow and imaging system. The system
integrated the entire process from paper based mail receipt, scanning
and customer matching through to main frame integration in order to
retrieve data from legacy applications. This data was then used in their
    call centre application.

  • The call centre application used Called ID to ensure that customers
were identified as soon as possible. The application included integration
to all existing applications, from legacy mainframe applications to Excel
spreadsheets and embedded letter generation, with the aim of handling
most queries during the first phone call. Queries that could not be
resolved directly would be automatically routed to Level 2 support staff
that would use the same integrated application to help them deal with
    more complex queries.

  • One of the largest logistics companies in the world regularly outsources
work to Resolve. We have been able to help them with many different
components for their consignment and tracking systems including
    bespoke reporting and database components.

  • A multi-national Cinema and Stadium ticketing company
outsourced to us the development of a generic credit/debit card
handling system. Our client was wasting time and money
rewriting their card payment systems for every different bank
or clearing system that their clients used. We designed a set
of interfaces that formed the basis of a generic solution to their
problem. We realised that wecould not offer the solution to every
different system they would encounter but through our
component based "plug-in" system, any new systems they
wanted to handle could be installed painlessly. As a result of our
designs we have also been retained to develop drivers that they
can use for such systems as Tender Retail, Protobase, Retail
    Logic and ACI.

  • For the same company we also wrote bespoke drivers for
communicating with specialised printesr that contain and
enforce retail tax rules of the local country that the printer
    is deployed in.

  • For a UK accountancy software company we were asked to design
a licensing and security system to be included in part of a windows
based accountancy package. We were asked to build our components
in such a way that they could then be used and re-used for future
products. By utilising COM we delivered a solution that was both
    re-usable and simple to integrate.

  • For a major pharmaceutical retailer, we developed a system for their
sales force that allowed them to have remote access to all aspects
of their customer data. It also allowed them to check stock levels with
the ability to give an instant quote. This was all achieved on a handheld
device communicating via XML to a remote server. The benefit to the
sales force was that they were able to take an order in the field and
immediately know whether there was sufficient stock level to fulfil it.
A facility was also incorporated to allow flexible pricing within
predetermined limits. Again this was of great benefit to the sales team
in allowing them to close orders more quickly.
